Cameron received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Certificate in American Studies. At Princeton, she was selected as a recipient of the Princeton Project 55 Fellowship, a program that provides recent Princeton graduates with experience in the public interest sector. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law.

Before law school, Cameron worked as a Paralegal and later as an Investigative Analyst in the Major Economic Crimes Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office. During her time in law school, Cameron worked as a mediator in the New York City Small Claims Court as part of the NYU Law Mediation Clinic.

After graduating from law school, Cameron joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as a private funds attorney. She later joined Gunderson Dettmer as a corporate fund associate, where she represented clients in the venture capital and growth equity marketplace. At Gunderson, Cameron’s practice focused on the formation and operation of venture capital funds, as well as their general partner and management entities.

Cameron is admitted to practice law in New York.
